Too eager to see if my eggs are going to hatch or not. I did hold them up to my ears a few days ago, usually you can hear them moving a little inside before their hatching.
Anyways the nromal incubation period is 17 – 19 days.

Counting Down

guess im counting down to the hatching God Willing of my eggs. Seems like forever. I know they were laid approximately 10 days ago so I guess I’m half way through. I hope inshallah the eggs were fertilised properly.

Extremely sad News

The squeaker managed to get out of the loft never to be seen again. I don’t thik it would have gone far and thus I think the neighbours cat ate it, Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi Rajioon. The proof was in the feathers found underneath a neighbours car.

Good News,, Alhumdulillah.

The Hen laid its second egg yesterday and Alhumdulillah (thanks to God) it was sitting on the egg.  Inshallah she holds out. I also put the first one back hoping it didn’t go bad in the cold.
